Join us as we journey back in time to uncover the events that unfolded 214 years ago at the Log Cabin in the Church Hollow Area of Montgomery Bell State Park. Immerse yourself in history with 1800s reenactors who will transport you to a pivotal moment: the birth of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church on its 214th birthday. Discover the remarkable tale of Samuel McAdow and the church’s founding during this engaging event.

In 1986 Ernest Goes to Camp was filmed at Montgomery Bell State Park.
Mark your calendars for an unforgettable day as we celebrate the sheer genius of Ernest at the Official Ernest Day Event.
Prepare for a day filled with exciting activities, so make sure you’re there to join in the fun! Don’t forget to bring along your cherished items for autographs by the talented actors from the Ernest Franchise. Stay tuned for the official list of actors, which will be posted closer to the event day.
