The lakes, trails, golf course and historic sites sit close enough together to make an easy day, but the right route depends on the time you have, who is with you and what is open when you arrive. This independent guide is built to help you make those choices.
MontgomeryBellPark.com is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with Tennessee State Parks. For closures, reservations, rules and other details that can change, the park’s official channels and posted signs take precedence over anything on this site.
How we put a guide together
We start with the question a visitor is trying to answer: Which trail fits our group? Is the campground open? Where should we stay if we want an early start? We use official park information for park operations and maps, link to the source when it matters, and distinguish a confirmed fact from advice or an editorial judgment. Business hours, prices and availability belong to the business or booking provider and should be checked again before you go.
Some pages are researched guides; they are not presented as accounts of a personal visit. When we add firsthand observations, original photographs or accessibility notes from the field, we will identify what was observed and when. We do not use generated imagery as evidence of a real place or publish estimated map pins as if they were surveyed locations.

Advertising, bookings and independence
