Montgomery Bell State Park

Montgomery Bell State Park is one of Tennessee’s most beautiful and guest-friendly outdoor attractions. The park boasts 3,782 acres of amazing natural Oak Forests with all of the amenities that make for an amazing trip. Located just 40 minutes outside of Nashville, TN, the park has a newly renovated on-site restaurant and bar. The view of Lake Acorn from this facility is unmatched, and adds to an already fantastic setting.

 The park is open all year for those interested in hiking, camping, fishing, golf, and boating. Montgomery Bell State Park was developed as a Works Progress Administration and Civilian Conservation Corps project during the great depression, and was originally called the Montgomery Bell Recreational Demonstration Area. It was called one of the great examples of an Oak Forest and [2] The park is named after Montgomery Bell, an iron industrialist who is widely viewed as a primary figure in the early development of Middle Tennessee. He is also the name sake of Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville.

The Lodge at Montgomery Bell State Park

The Montgomery Bell Resort features accommodates your over-night visit with a newly renovated Lodge and can accommodate events at the conference center. There are also several stand-alone cabins and an on-site golf course. The Montgomery Bell Resort Lodge was originally built in 1951 but has just undergone a complete renovation making the 117-hotel room facility an amazing option for your stay. The Lodge offers spacious rooms that include a private balcony with views of Acorn Lake. The restaurant and lounge make dinning convenient and there is an outdoor swimming pool, an exercise room, an outdoor fire pit, as well as Wi-Fi and cable TV.
