The two primary lakes at Montgomery Bell State Park are Lake Woodhaven and Lake Acorn. Spanning a total of about 140-acres, Lake Woodhaven, provides nature lovers an opportunity to swim, boat, and fish.
Lake Alcorn is smaller at 20-acres but provides a more intimate experience with great fishing. Bluegill, crappie, and bass are all stocked within the lake.
Both lakes offer chances for hiking, birdwatching, and wildlife observation, and are encircled by beautiful woodland. Campgrounds, chalets, and picnic spots are also available for tourists to use in the park.
